Hip-Hop Hamilton

Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, HAMILTON has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre — a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education. With book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, HAMILTON is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography.

Free Art Museum Day

Honoring the incredible legacy of Black Power in the San Francisco Bay Area, the de Young museum is proud to announce a line-up of programming and partners tied to celebrating the landmark exhibition Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power 1963–1983. Featuring renowned artists, performers, musicians, activists, civic leaders, and others, these programs welcome special guests from around the Bay Area to bring Black Power to the forefront of our winter programming season.  In addition, the de Young museum is offering free admission to the entire museum, including free entry to Soul of a Nationfor all visitors on four Saturdays throughout the run of the exhibition.

SF Beer Week Opening Gala

SF Beer Week

Boasting over 600 events, this festival offers a chance to savor the rarest and most sought after crafts, attend delicious beer dinners prepared by culinary experts and become immersed in one of the best beer cultures in the nation.  Exhibitor will showcase a strong statement to the local and national craft beer community that you support the pioneering spirit and quality of craft beer, over 20 Guild breweries and dozens of celebrated Northern California breweries that collectively make the Bay Area an internationally renowned craft beer destination, a great opportunity to talk to about SF Beer Week while getting to know your local brewers.

SF Giants Fan Fest

SF-Giants_fan_festFans can enter FanFest using any of the following Oracle Park entrances: Willie Mays Gate, Lefty O’Doul Gate, 2nd and King Street Gate. Marina Gate will be closed. Ballpark access will not be available from the Giants Dugout Store or Public House.  Don’t forget to download the free entry pass to this year’s Fanfest. The first 10,000 fans to use their mobile pass to enter the ballpark will receive a Giants Mystery Item.

2020 Chinese New Year Street Fair

At the fair, experience Chinese cultural arts such as Chinese folk dancing, opera, drumming and much more at the entertainment stage on Washington St. below Grant Ave.

Jo Koy Tickets

Koy got his start doing open mics in coffeehouses in Las Vegas. His intelligent, observational style is accessible to much of the public. Koy is biracial with a Filipina mother and white American father. After his parents divorced, he was raised mostly by his mother. As a youngster, he latched onto any representation of Filipino culture that he saw in American media. After years of steadily building an audience, Koy now has a big following in cities around the US.

The Speakeasy: Cupid’s Arrow

peaksyIt’s Valentine’s Day at The Palace Theater and Cupid’s Arrow is aiming for you and your sweetheart! This romantic and intimate evening is filled with familiar characters from The Speakeasy as well as new characters created especially for this love-filled event!  Strolling performers recite poetry and sonnets, opera singers will serenade, couples can have their tarot cards read, and keepsake photos are available at our Cupid’s Photo Booth. It will be an evening full of magic and romance. Step back in time to the Roarin’ 20s and love like we did a century ago!  Premium Entry begins at 7:30p and includes a 30-min playlet in the Main Bar and musical performance. General Entry begins at 8:30p. There will be two Vaudeville Shows in the Cabaret at 9:00p and 10:00p. Orchid Show

orchid-showThere will be thousands of orchid flowers and plants on display, with judging from the American Orchid Society, as well as plants for sale from members of the San Francisco Orchid Society as well as over 23 international nurseries. Hands-on demonstrations will be conducted by experts with information about successfully growing and blooming orchids at home in San Francisco, as well as ongoing efforts to promote habitat conservation around the world. Families are welcome, and there will be special activities for kids and people of all ages and interests.

Noise Pop Festival 2020

The indie loving showcase fest also dabbles in art and film along with some of the very best in upcoming musical artists. If you’re planning a winter-time trip, this is a unique way to experience the bars, clubs, and hipster joints of the city.  Noise Pop Music & Arts Festival takes the best venues in the Bay and collectively turns them into your personal festival ground. Throughout the week there are different films, art shows, happy hours, and concerts all over SF and the East Bay.  There are two ways to attend the fest: buy a badge and get into everything or pick and choose by purchasing tickets to individual shows and films.

Owners and winemakers will be present, showing two of their latest releases – all wines being poured have scored a minimum of 92 points or above!
