The Intivix team is constantly in search of new opportunities and new ways to improve how we serve our clients, and our attendance at HTG Meetings is just one part of that effort.
From May 3rd – 5th, Intivix partner Matthew James attended an HTG Meeting in order to gain key insight from industry peers and HTG’s leading consultants and coaches on how to better run a business and serve clients.
Over the course of the week, Matthew learned about a number of vital concepts for leadership and management in the workplace:
- HABU (Highest And Best Use Of Time)
- “C player can quit and leave or quit and stay”
- Lead people, manage things.
- Date the method, marry the mission.
- Trust is the currency of leadership.
“It was a great HTG group meeting with a focus on leadership and legacy,” said Matthew.
HTG Peer Groups is a network of IT professionals that are devoted to supporting each other, promoting best business practices, and holding each other accountable to their clients.
