Typically, we like to feature an Intivix employee on our blog each month. It’s our way of helping our clients and prospective clients learn new things about our employees. Things that you may not get to learn when working with them in a professional setting. This month, we decided to change things up a bit. This month we are featuring a few Intivix employees and sharing what they are thankful for. Not only will this give you the warm and fuzzies, but it will also give you a little peek into the lives of multiple Intivix employees.

Let’s start with the personal side. Here’s a look at what our Intivix employees are thankful for in their non-work lives:

After many attempts over 4 months, I finally got a nice picture of a red-tail hawk that lives close to my home.

-Audrey Hayyen-Mihoin, Client Account Manager

I am thankful for having the opportunity to live and work in beautiful San Francisco!

– Dante Alabastro, Help Desk Engineer

I am thankful that I live in the small town of Sebring, Florida. Yes, it is small, but it is like a small piece of Heaven. You know almost everyone, and everyone cares for everyone.  I am so blessed to have a wonderful, caring, loving family. I am so thankful for the life I have and the people who have been put in my life. Thankful for my Faith.  No matter what is going on in your life give thanks. “In all things, give thanks” and always “give thanks with a grateful heart”.

– Shawne Albritton, Marketing & Sales Admin

I am thankful that so many of my family members from around the country have moved to the Pacific Northwest recently. Taking the train to Tacoma to visit my grandmother has become an adventure I look forward to every year. She recently turned 95 and I am so happy that my daughter gets to spend time with her.

– David Hathaway, IT Services Coordinator

I am thankful for my beautiful wife who adds so much love and fun to my life! I am also thankful for a great country to live in, the freedom we all enjoy, and the men and woman who have sacrificed over the years to make that possible. I am thankful for my friends and my wonderful family. I am thankful for the great state of Montana that I get to live in. I am thankful for our cat, Aboo. I am thankful for faith and the hope that it brings. I am thankful for music and the joy that it provides.

I am thankful to be spending time with my fiancé’s family, getting to know them as closely as I do my own biological family. Thankful to be adapting to new environments, spending free time along the lake watching the seasons turn and assisting with household upkeep including landscaping, buildout of a barn workshop and lake pier.

– Kyle Ramirez, Systems Engineer

I am thankful for my wonderful family and beautiful friendships, my home town, which provides impressive views and hiking, and for our fur babies! Above all, I am thankful for my daughter who is the greatest teacher I have ever had.

– Brandi Manuel, Marketing & Communications Manager

We asked our team what they are thankful for on the professional side as well. Keep reading to learn more!

I am thankful for great coworkers who are talented and well-versed in what they do, and I am glad that they are generous enough to share some of their knowledge with me. I am thankful for the ever-changing landscape of IT that always provides opportunities for me to learn and grow. I am thankful for the Internet; it allows me to work for a great company even though I don’t live in the same state! I am thankful that Microsoft has never and will never fix all of its various bugs, or I would be out of a job.

– Justin Ovenell, Remote Help Desk Engineer

I am thankful for having the opportunity to help people with their technological needs!

– Dante Alabastro, Help Desk Engineer

I am thankful for working in an environment in which everyone jumps in to help each other overcome obstacles. These can be difficult customer technical challenges or proactive learning opportunities; someone is always ready to provide direction or advice.

While there are many values Intivix lives up to, there are five that make up our Core Values. Every day, I experience our team living up to these values. I am grateful for every individual that makes up Team Intivix and thankful for their contributions. “When there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.” — Mattie Stepanek.

– Brandi Manuel, Marketing & Communications Manager

I am thankful for the opportunities to communicate and be heard in regards to my perspective for both personal and departmental/company goals and how they could be achieved. I am thankful for an open culture of ideas where we can collaborate on an individual’s ideas to evolve them into holistic solutions that are beneficial for all.

– Kyle Ramirez, Systems Engineer

I am thankful for having such a wonderful team to work with, everyone is always caring and thoughtful. The entire team was together for the first time, from San Francisco, Oregon, Iowa, Montana, and Florida, and it was like a family reunion. Everyone exchanged family stories and what has gone on in their lives, and what is currently going on. It was like family catching up with each other, and I and so thankful to call them my Work family.

– Shawne Albritton, Marketing & Sales Admin

I am getting faster at creating quotes.
